terrific small light

Not a light canon, but a very nice small light that's powerful enough.

Great small light

Well, my dog ate my original Mini-Q 40 so I need this. It is reliable with long life and fits nicely in the hand.

My choice

I first was introduced to this flashlight when I was a service tech for Time Warner Cable back at the turn of the centruy. This is functionally the most reliable flashlight I have ever used. The 4-battery design provides long-term use which proved helpful when working up on a pole, at night, in the rain. It came with an attachment for my safety helmet but I usually just held it between my teeth. The plastic body is much more functional than any of the "high tech" aluminum-bodied flashlights I have been assigned, or purchased, over the years. Yes, they are expensive but they tend to last way longer than any of the alternatives I have used in over 50 years. Well except my 6, D-cell Maglite I have owned since the 70's. But that light is for a different function. Sure, it does not have the brightness of others, or the ability to focus the beam, but I would trade those functions any day of the week, plus Sunday for the reliability of this flashlight. My graveyard of all those fancy, anodized wonders is piled high, while I believe I have only owned two of these units in over the past 20 years, and one of those was issued to me. I'm not a diver, I'm just a guy who appreciates the rugged reliability this flashlight has to offer.
