Which spearfishing speargun is right for you?
Selection of a speargun should be based on the type of fish you are going to hunt and local spearfishing regulations. The larger the speargun, the bigger the fish it will stop and the farther the range will be. As you step down in size you will have greater maneuverability, but will not have the range of a longer spear gun. Another consideration is pneumatic spearguns. These guns are accurate and powerful and great to use while hunting on the reef.
Local Regulations May Apply!
Please refer to your local Game Commission or Marine Patrol for any regulations that may apply. Get proper training before using any of these spearguns. Be safe, follow all local laws, manufacturers' instructions and warnings. In Florida, you must have a fishing license to spearfish and collect lobster.
