Spare Air was created to save divers' lives. After inventor, Larry Williamson, had a near drowning experience while lobster diving off the coast of Catalina Island, he kept recalling the last words he thought to himself as he blacked out—if I only had one more breath. These words and his experience are what inspired him to create something that would offer an extra breath to those who need it. Spare Air is a miniature air cylinder designed to give you just enough extra breaths to make it to the surface if your main tank taps out. The Spare Air brand is committed to educating as many people as possible about safe diving and preventable drowning, and they want to make sure you make it back to the surface again, too.
